Fulfilling The Promise pg 120-162

There are a lot of additional resources in this book. I liked the graphic organizers they had. They are helpful for me as a teacher in planning instruction and are useful for students while they are reading, studying and taking notes. I liked the illustration of the know understand do format. You have the "know" which leads to the "understand" which then leads to the "do". It helps clarify what it is that you want the students to get out of the lesson. There are also a lot of fun activity ideas, like the science menus, think-tac-toe and RAFT activities. They are all really cool activities I am excited to use. I love that it talks more about tiering and it has examples. I loved seeing the example you used in class because I understood the concept a lot better afterwards. It is nice to see more examples as well.
